Why do we move the way we do? What are triggers for changing our minds, hearts, and the way we go from A to B?

The MobileWorlds Festival invites you to question the ways you’ve thought about mobilities so far. From the transportation you use every day, to the ways you might step out of usual ways of thinking, and the impact of moving across countries or between social groups.

Programme for Day 1 of the Festival

14:30-15:00: Introduction. Presenting the international Mobile Worlds Project about cultural and physical mobilities.

15:00-16:00: A talk, interview and discussion with Marina Magerøy, section leader in Sustainable Mobility at Bymiljøetaten, Bergen kommune on the potentials of physical mobilities in Bergen.

16:00-17:00: A brief performance, interview and discussion with Roseanne dos Reis, actress and artist based in Bergen, having among other things recently produced and enacted the play “Den Heilige Kua - Om å føde ein nordmann” (The Holy Cow – About giving birth to a Norwegian), on the potentials of cultural and internal mobilities.

17:00-18:00: A playful workshop to explore your own mobility potentials – internal and physical.
