​We begin the festival with a special focus on Carlos Gardel, including a lecture-concert on the lyrics of his songs, a talk on his significance in Argentine society, and a screening of his beloved film El día que me quieras.

From 17:00, the exhibition spaces will be open to visitors. Alongside visual materials on Gardel and tango, this year’s exhibition also highlights Women Tango Pioneers, curated by Marina Cañardo, former director of the Museo Casa Carlos Gardel in Buenos Aires.
